2019 The program name was changed to EcoLeaf Environmental Labeling Program by the operational transfer to Sustainable Management Promotion Organization (SuMPO).
The Japan EPD Program by SuMPO
Previously separate PCRs and the procedures for the EcoLeaf, for the assessment of multiple environmental aspects, and the Carbon Footprint of Products, for the assessment of global warming impact, have been integrated. The Japan EPD Program by SuMPO now handles both a Type III environmental declaration and a CFP declaration.
