Information on points to note in the calculation

The following two points should be noted in the calculation of the SuMPO Environmental Label Program.

(1) Handling of electricity generated in-house from renewable energy sources
The environmental impact of on-site renewable energy generation facilities can be used for calculation in the “SuMPO Environmental Labeling Program”.
Please note that it is necessary to collect primary data on the operation of on-site power generation facilities for use in the calculation.

(2) Handling of Renewable Energy Derived Electricity Certificates
At this time, certificates for electricity derived from renewable energy sources cannot be used for calculation in the SuMPO Environmental Labeling Program.
The secretariat is currently reviewing the possibility of using this service. If it becomes available, we will inform you how to use it.
